About Mama Memoirs

Hi, I’m Emily—first-time mama, mental health advocate, and a big believer that some of life’s biggest challenges can lead to the most beautiful transformations.

This blog was born out of a deeply personal turning point: being laid off while pregnant. It shook me. I was scared, uncertain, and grieving the plan I thought I had. But as I sat in that uncomfortable space, something new began to take shape—a desire to share, connect, and create a life that felt more aligned, more intentional, and more me.

Here, you’ll find honest reflections on mental health, the raw (and beautiful) realities of being a first-time mom, the unpredictable path of life after a layoff, and the everyday chaos of being a stay-at-home mom. I also share helpful finds that make this journey a little easier—whether it’s Amazon must-haves for baby and home, or wellness products that support my physical and emotional well-being.

If you’re navigating motherhood, healing from burnout, or figuring out how to start fresh after everything changed—I’m right there with you.

Oh, and when I’m not blogging or playing with my little boy, you can find me crafting with my Cricut, making custom wood décor, or experimenting with candles in the kitchen. I love creating things that bring warmth, joy, and meaning into everyday life.

Some of my posts contain affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission if you choose to purchase through them—at no extra cost to you. I only share what I truly love and use in my own life.

Thanks so much for being here—it means the world to me. I’d love to connect, so don’t be shy: comment, or send me a message anytime.

Let’s navigate this wild, beautiful season together. 💛
